The Gentle recipe provides the perfect balance of vitamins and minerals – high-meat content with a healthy combination of brown rice, vegetables, herbs, cold-pressed oils, green lipped mussel and other vital substances.

Adult Dogs
As a general rule, the recommended amount of Gentle is around 1 to 1.2% of the dogs ideal body weight.
Weigh your dog and once you have their weight in grams knock off two 0's and thats 1% of their weight!
So, if your dog weighs 20kg, thats 20,000g. Knock off two 0's and thats 200g - thats 1%
Puppies and pregnant/lactating bitches
These need a larger amount of food, aproximately 2 to 2.8% of bodyweight

The very first kibble my dogs have not gone off. Every bag is eaten to the last crumb and my dogs look fantastic.
Our dog is a VERY picky eater. Some people worry about dropping a morsel of food, whether the dog might eat some chocolate.
In contrast ours won't touch a cheap sausage if the meat content isn't high enough.
His discerning nose does love gentle dog food, and it's been a staple in his balanced diet since we discovered it. The cold-compress means we love how nutritious it is, and he clearly enjoys it as he turns his nose up at anything shy of high protein content.

My dog has been eating this for seven years and is thriving on it. It works out surprisingly affordable because he needs so little every day. He’s a big dog so this big bag makes sense. And picking up poop is never going to be the best job but on this food at least it’s always healthy poop!
