    Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By accessing and using the  website or placing an order over the phone you are agreeing to be bound to the terms & conditions specified herein. A. Coombs Pet Centre Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and you will be asked to confirm that you have read these when you place an order with us.

    You must be over eighteen years of age to use this website and to make payments online.


      We will try to make the website fully accessible to you at all times, but cannot guarantee access. On occasion the website may not be available for a short time while maintenance is carried out or for other preplanned reasons.

      Coombs Pet Centre Ltd reserves the right to refuse access to the websites, terminate customer accounts, disable any user identification code or password, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion, at any time.

       User Accounts

        If you choose to create an account then you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that account & associated password. You must ensure that the password remains confidential in order to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and secure, for not allowing others to use your account and for any activity which is carried out under your account. A. Coombs Pet Centre Ltd will not be liable for any activity which occurs as a result of your failure in this regard.

         Website Accuracy

        We will make every effort to provide accurate information regarding descriptions of items for sale, prices, recommendations for use and all other matters on its websites. 

        While we do our very best to ensure that the ingredients, feeding guides and analyses information is kept up to date, there may be occasions where a manufacturer has changed their recipe and this has not yet been reflected in the information on our product pages. Please always refer to the product packaging upon receipt of your order for the fullest and most up to date copy of the product's ingredients.

        Where permitted by law, A.Coombs Pet Centre Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of information on this website or anywhere else.

        We may provide information and advice, both on the website and by email. We will try to ensure this is accurate and appropriate. Information supplied on the website, by email or phone call is not intended to replace the advice you can obtain from your Vet. A.Coombs Pet Centre Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage which results from the use of the website or the information it contains. All product images are for illustrational purposes only


        The price of any goods will be as quoted on the Website from time to time, except in cases of obvious error. Subject to condition below, in the event of obvious inaccuracies in the prices quoted on the Website, we reserve the right not to fulfil and/or to cancel any orders placed by you in reliance on the inaccurate prices.

        Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.

        Payment for all goods, either by credit or debit card, will be taken from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Any payment made to us will be refunded if we do not accept your order.

        Whilst it is our intention to keep the Website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.

        All prices shown on the Website are inclusive of VAT. Delivery charges are clearly highlighted throughout the Website.

        Placement and Acceptance of Orders

        All orders placed through the Website will be subject to our acceptance of the order.

        When you submit an order to us on the Website, you will receive an email from us acknowledging your order ("Order Confirmed Email"). You should check this email for accuracy and let us know immediately if there are any errors. Please note that the Order Confirmed Email does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy goods. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we reserve the right to decline the acceptance of any order, or cancel an order, in full or in part, for any reason at our absolute discretion. This applies up to the point we dispatch your order.

        A Coombs Pet Centre Ltd only accepts the order and agrees the contract to supply at the point of order dispatch (physical handover of the goods to the carrier.) We will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms the goods have been dispatched to you (the "A Shipment is on the way"). 

        Where you have used a promotional code to obtain a discount off the price of your order, acceptance of this order is subject to our verifying that the code has been issued to you personally and that you have complied with all the terms of the offer and qualify for the promotional code. In the event that the code has not been issued to you for your personal use, or you do not qualify for the promotion, or your use of the code is in breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or any express conditions applicable to the code, the price of the order will be adjusted notwithstanding any email confirmation which you receive. Refunds for goods purchased under a promotional offer will be based on the terms of the promotional price. Your statutory rights are not affected.


          Orders will be processed and dispatched as soon as possible using either DPD or by our own local service. All orders and payments will be screened for evidence of fraudulent activity. In some instances, this may cause a delay in the dispatch of your order. Orders will be dispatched once all of the items ordered are available. If there is a delay on a specific item, you may be contacted to establish whether you would prefer to split the order or wait for a single delivery. We endeavour to supply orders accurately, however the responsibility remains with the purchaser and user of all products to verify that the product is correct prior to use.

          If your order arrives damaged please contact our team who will arrange a replacement or refund as preferred. Damages should be notified to us within 30 days of receipt. We may ask you for photographs of any damages prior to processing a claim. When you place an order, you may be asked for delivery instructions including a ‘leave safe’ preference. Our couriers will follow these instructions wherever possible.

          Payment will be taken at the time of requesting the order (not at the point of dispatch). All items are offered for sale subject to availability. We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 days of receiving payment.

          Lost in transit - If an order is dispatched with a courier it will be fully tracked and you should contact us as soon as you believe it may have gone missing in transit.

          For all orders, regardless of delivery method, you must report missing items to us within 30 days of the date of dispatch.

          Incorrect Address - you are responsible for entering your full postal address correctly, and selecting it on each order. A. Coombs takes no responsibility for missing items that have been sent to an incorrect, old or inaccurate address.

          If delivery is likely to be subject to undue delay, we will contact you by email or phone. You will have the option of a full refund in this case, or of waiting for availability (this might be due to a manufacturer or other reason beyond our control). Delivery to some addresses may carry a higher delivery charge for certain items. This will be displayed prior to making payment. Other conditions do apply regarding deliveries. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are also agreeing to what is stated on our delivery information page.

          Subscription Orders

            Subscription orders are only available through through the website.

            The products available via subscription at any given time may change without notice. You should check the Website for details of Products available.

            By subscribing you may be entitled to a discount from the then-current purchase price of the product for regularly scheduled deliveries of the Product. This discount is Product specific and is identified on the Website page for each Product. The applicable discount maybe updated by us at any time without notice. The applicable discount may not be used for one-off purchases of any product.

            If you sign up for a regular delivery we will do our best to ensure that you receive your order on the date selected. On occasion this may not be possible due to bank holidays, weekends and stock availability. If you have any queries regarding your regular delivery, please contact us. You can edit or cancel your order from your customer account at any time.

            Payments for regular delivery orders will be taken when we prepare the order for dispatch. If for any reason the payment fails, payment will be automatically be re-attempted the following day.

            Product details (including price, discount and availability) may change over time and each Product order will be subject to the then applicable subscription and Product details. We recommend that you regularly check the Website for details of Products (including applicable price, discount and availability).

            In the event the subscription Product you have ordered is out of stock or discontinued, our team will contact you.

            Once you have applied for the subscription delivery service or placed an order for the products, your scheme will continue unless or until it is cancelled or modified by either of us in accordance with these Additional Terms.

            You may cancel or modify your subscription at any time by updating the manage subscription page of the Website. Cancellation or modification will not affect Product orders for which you have already received a Dispatch Confirmation.

            If you cancel your subscription, you will only be charged for the orders already dispatched to you and no further orders or Instalments for that Product will be dispatched by us.

            We retain the right to cancel your subscription at any time. If your subscription is cancelled, you will be notified and you will only be charged for Product orders for which you have already received a Dispatch Confirmation.

            Following any cancellation, if you reactivate your subscription, the discount applicable to your reactivated subscription product may not be the same discount that was in effect prior to cancellation. The new discount will be applied to your future orders of product.

            You may choose and amend your chosen delivery schedule at any time by editing the frequency option in the manage subscription page of your account on the website.

            If you change your address, you must update your address details in the manage subscription section of the website. To ensure the next Instalment is sent to the correct address, please amend the address details as required. We do not accept liability for any failure of Product to be delivered to you in circumstances where you have provided incorrect delivery address details or failed to update your delivery address details as required.

            Returns & Refunds

              In accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you are entitled to cancel an order and receive a full refund up to 14 calendar days after you receive the item from us. This applies even if you change your mind and no longer want an item.

              The easiest way to return your order is in store, within 14 days of receipt. Simply bring along the goods with the original invoice and we’ll be happy to exchange or refund your item.

              Alternatively, you can return your order via post for a refund, but do note,  that all shipping fees to return an order are at the cost of the consumer.

              Orders that have been dispatched cannot be cancelled. In this case, please wait to receive the order and then follow our returns process below.

              It is your duty to take all reasonable care of any items to be returned, including their packaging, up until the time we receive them back from you. Any damage will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money you have paid.

              The 14 day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to arrange a return/refund.

If you access the Site from any other region of the world with laws or other requirements governing personal data collection, use, or disclosure that differ from applicable laws in the United Kingdom, then through your continued use of the Site, you are transferring your data to the United Kingdom, and you agree to have your data transferred to and processed in the United Kingdom.
