API Stress Coat is a water conditioner that makes tap water safe, reduces fish stress and heals damaged tissue. It removes chlorine, chloramines, and heavy metals from tap water, and contains the healing power of Aloe Vera which is scientifically proven to reduce fish stress and heal damaged tissue.

API STRESS COAT water conditioner also reduces electrolyte loss in your fish, and should be used when:

  • Handling, netting, or adding fish to a bag for the trip home from the shop.
  • Starting an aquarium.
  • Performing monthly water changes.
  • When adding new fish to your aquarium.

The unique formula is scientifically proven to reduce fish stress (by up to 40%) and heal damaged tissue by forming a synthetic slime coating on your fish. Stress Coat water conditioner also helps reduce fish susceptibility to disease and infection.

    Usage tips:
    • For use when setting up new ponds, carrying out water changes.
    • Always read the instructions carefully before use.
    Dosage:
    • Easy to use, the dosing cap included on the bottle
    • Use 5ml per 38 litres.
    • To replace slime coat or to repair damaged skin and fins, use 10ml per 38 litres.
    • Treats up to 3,558 litres.

        We offer Free Delivery on all orders over £45 (Excluding Scotland & Northern Ireland). All orders under £45 will have a £5.99 delivery charge.

        For orders to Scotland and Northern Ireland a delivery charge of £8.99 will be applied.
