Osteopen 100mg/ml solution for injection

Osteopen 100 mg/ml solution for injection contains pentosan polysulphate sodium, and it's commonly used to treat arthritis and joint conditions in dogs. It is administered subcutaneously, with a typical dosage of 3 mg per kg of the dog's body weight, equivalent to 0.3 ml for every 10 kg. The treatment usually involves a series of four injections given over a period of 5-7 days.

This medication is not suitable for all dogs. It is contraindicated for those with septic arthritis, advanced liver or kidney issues, blood disorders, coagulation problems, or for dogs that are skeletally immature or have certain arthritis types.
