Milprazon® Chewable Film-Coated Tablets for Small Dogs and Puppies (2.5mg/25mg) are broad-spectrum wormers designed for dogs weighing 0.5–10kg, including puppies from 2 weeks of age. They combine milbemycin oxime and praziquantel to treat intestinal worms, lungworm, eyeworm, and prevent heartworm disease.

Key Features of Milprazon® Small Dogs & Puppies

  • Active Ingredients:

    • Milbemycin oxime (2.5mg) — effective against roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and prevents heartworm.

    • Praziquantel (25mg) — targets tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.).

  • Target Weight Range: Dogs 0.5–10kg, including puppies from 2 weeks old.

  • Indications:

    • Treatment of tapeworms

    • Treatment of gastrointestinal nematodes (roundworm, hookworm, whipworm)

    • Treatment of eyeworm (Thelazia callipaeda)

    • Treatment and prevention of lungworm (Angiostrongylus vasorum)

    • Heartworm prevention when given monthly

LEGAL INFORMATION: this is a Veterinary Prescription Only Medicine (POM-V), which can only be prescribed by a veterinary surgeon, but another veterinary surgeon or pharmacist may dispense it.
