Cerenia Tablets for Dogs – Veterinary Prescription Required

Cerenia Tablets for Dogs are a veterinary prescription medication used to treat and prevent vomiting in dogs. They are commonly prescribed as part of a wider treatment plan alongside supportive care.

Cerenia may be used to:

  • Treat active vomiting

  • Prevent vomiting associated with illness

  • Prevent nausea caused by chemotherapy

  • Prevent vomiting due to motion sickness

How Cerenia Works

Cerenia contains maropitant, which works by blocking neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptors in the brain. These receptors are responsible for triggering nausea and vomiting when activated by a naturally occurring chemical in the body called substance P.

By preventing substance P from attaching to these receptors, Cerenia helps reduce nausea and stop vomiting at its source.

Cerenia Tablets can only be supplied with a valid veterinary prescription.

We offer Free Delivery on all orders over £49.99 (Excluding Scotland & Northern Ireland). All orders under £49.99 will have a £5.99 delivery charge.

For orders to Scotland and Northern Ireland a delivery charge of £8.99 will be applied.
