Anthelmin®Plus Flavoured Tablets

Anthelmin® Plus Flavoured Tablets are a veterinary medication designed for dogs to treat mixed infestations of roundworms and tapeworms. The active ingredients include febantel, pyrantel, and praziquantel, which work together to target a variety of parasites. These tablets are flavoured to make administration easier for dogs.

Key Features

• Indications: Effective against roundworms (e.g., Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), hookworms (e.g., Ancylostoma caninum), and tapeworms (e.g., Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp.).

• Dosage: Typically, 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight. Tablets can be halved or quartered for accurate dosing.

• Administration: Can be given directly or mixed with food. No fasting is required before or after administration.

• Frequency: Puppies may be treated every 2 weeks from 2 to 12 weeks of age, then every 3 months. Adult dogs are usually treated with a single dose as needed.

The legal category of Anthelmin® Plus Flavoured Tablets is NFA-VPS. This means it can be supplied by a veterinarian, pharmacist, or suitably qualified person.
