I was completely ill-prepared for the amount of care and treatment that was required to look after a fish.I thought that I could just buy a fish, and then stick that fish in a water pitcher and allow it to swim about. After a day, I noticed specks of dirt inside the pitcher, and, after that, noticed my fish sort of floating as opposed to swimming. I poked on the glass, and was happy to see it was still alive. Then I decided that I needed to buy proper equipment for my pet. After describing my situation to one of the staff members, I purchased a fully-equipped aquarium. It had everything I needed, and the staff member gave me a very good rundown of how to keep everything in good condition so my fish doesn't die. The staff, in general, are extremely knowledgeable, and are so keen to help. There is a very friendly, local atmosphere to the store, and they have a large selection of pet products for fish, birds, dogs, cats, and other small animals.

Shocking, how hard can it be to order something on line, that documents what you have ordered, wait for a month with no communication and then have to resort to emails to find out what happened to the order, amateurs, buy it from the supermarket its worth the couple of pound extra for no hassle! I will never deal with this company again! Sainburys here I come!

Have been buying dog food and treats weekly for the last few years. Over the last months I have noticed they are regularly out of stock of reveral items (kiwi chicken, duck fillet strips, chicken breast fillets, pedigree puppy marrowbone biscuits). They are losing £40+ a month just from me on these products. They were always available before. What's the story, Coombs?

The range of products is superb. This is my cat's favourite shop. It's my favourite shop too. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful - they even exchanged an unopened bag of dry food when my cat decided he didn't like the one I had opened. There's only one problem - it'd hard to decide what cat food to buy as so many are in stock. 5 stars and 10/10.

Excellent customer service and really helpful staff. A great selection of high-quality products and the staff are extremely knowledgeable. Will either use on-line service or pay a visit to the stores from now on. No need to go elsewhere as prices are good as well.
